Brown Bear

Brown bear is a fully handmade inflatable latex/rubber costume with the exception of the internal shoes. The main feature, its head is based upon a solid head box, a plastic skull so to speak. This makes it easy to put on and remove the head once inflated unlike a hood based product of a similar nature. This also allows for breathing as air can flow in and around the face.
The entire costume inflates using as few valves as possible usually one per item, one in the head, one in a boot... ect. The valves used are recycled bike valves making it very easy to blow up the costume using a variety of inflation devises from large foot pumps to small discreet hand pumps. Deflating is just as simple with the use of a valve remover to unscrew the core allowing the air to flow out.

Brown bear is one of my own designs and comes from my time spent working in a collectable bears shop where i had my hand in a bear or two, the designing of that is!!. His looks are not of a typical old english bear but lean more toward the cuter pug nosed japanese bears favored in recent times,and by myself. His paws are an integral part of the top and feature zips to allow the hands freedom when needed. His feet are also intergated into the leggings. Vision is provided via a row of small holes along the top of the nose.
This costume can be ordered made to measeure for boys or girls. it is more than feesable to purchase it in parts or adjust said parts to your desire, say to make just a pair of paw gloves or boots, or perhaps even just a tail thong!
